Valerie Presa, MS, LMFT, SEP
Valerie has a wide range of educational, professional, and life experience that lend to her informed and empathetic approach. She began her career as a teacher recognizing a desire to reach her students on a deeper emotional level. Her own healing journey has been integral to her desire to provide safe space for others.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, Valerie is specially trained in working on and within relationships, including the relationship with self. She believes this to be the most important relationship of all. Somatic Experiencing taps into the innate knowledge that our bodies have to inform and help us heal. Dr. Ed Patton, LMFT
Ed has worked in the field of Marriage & Family Therapy for over nine years. His professional experience includes working with adults, adolescents and families with a variety of issues. Ed has additional training in Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Couples therapy (EFCT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Ed uses a calm integrative theory approach to calmly help clients become aware of the answers they already possess for their recovery and healing.
Ed believes many difficulties are developed and maintained in relationship experiences. By looking within at how attachment experiences, and mistaken beliefs and assumptions, shape our view of self and others, we can begin to heal and redefine our place in the world.
